Providence, Rhode Island | 91 Units
Role: Owner’s Representative (KCM Group)
Construction Cost: $8.5 Million
The Braeburn Chatham Apartments project involved the comprehensive renovation of 91 affordable housing units across six buildings at four separate sites in Providence, Rhode Island.
The scope of work included extensive exterior envelope improvements, including new roofing, siding, windows, and doors, along with site improvements and selective demolition. Interior renovations consisted of upgraded mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, new fire alarm systems, modernized kitchens and bathrooms, and updated finishes and fixtures throughout. Solar photovoltaic panels were also installed to enhance energy efficiency and support long-term sustainability.
Construction was carefully phased, with approximately 8–10 units renovated per month, to minimize disruption to residents while maintaining project efficiency and continuity.
